WELLNESSWEEK
THE BLACK JEWEL SELECTION
Dover Sole
Regular price
$15.99
Description
The Dover Sole is a member of the flatfish family and is considered a luxurious item as it is usually imported from Europe.
Apart from being an imported product, this flatfish also boasts a mild and sweet flavor, with a delicate and flaky texture that is more like meat than fish, making it a mainstay in the European cuisine and a highly favored seafood for chefs. Its meat is glistening white in color.
Even with its delicate flavor, Dover Sole still does well when prepared with heavy sauces.
To give the meat more flavor, Dover Soles are better cooked with the bone. Best when poached, steamed or sauced for a more enjoyable fish meal.
We offer nationwide shipping and pickup at 2749 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn. Shipping options and charges are shown at checkout. Contact us for help arranging your order.
